The Mythos Machine Free Open Beta
For those who want to check out the benefits and features of the Mythos Machine without committing to the platform, we have decided to keep the Open Beta / Test Version of Mythos Machine in perpetual Free Open Beta. This means you will have access to all of the features of the web application on an unlimited basis on the Test system. The Open Beta site is primarily intended for Testers, and Reviewers who want to try out the latest features before they release to the Live system, and for newbies who just want to muck about with the Mythos Machine before taking the plunge. You can use it as a Player to Generate Characters in Public Worlds, and upgrade yourself to Basic or Premium Gamemaster to try out the World Building, Sharing, and even the Worlds Market Place! Try all the features for FREE for as long as you like!
There is one caveat: what you create there must be considered temporary. Because the Development system is for testing new features and dealing with bug fixes we can not guarantee the data you work with or create won’t be deleted or overwritten periodically, and without prior notice. But for the purposes of trying the thing out, and giving all the features a go you can’t beat a total Free Open Beta, so long as you can live with this caveat.
All we ask in return is that you generously contribute your thoughts, criticisms and recommendations in order to help us build a better, ever-improving service. Note: On the Test System you will NOT need to use your actual Credit Card information for any transaction (such as to subscribe or purchase Worlds in the Worlds Marketplace) but will be given a dummy CC number to use instead.
